Pumpkin Seed Brittle

This is Tristan Stanley! He's been a part of the team since August of 2011. He was brought on board with specific intentions of training him to be the candy maker. He's done an excellent job and continues to excel in his position.

This coming year, he has been tasked to create one new confection each quarter to introduce at Sweet Mona's. This is the first quarter of that challenge and he's come through with flying colors with his Pumpkin Seed Brittle. WOW, it is a winner.

He used Sweet Mona's base recipe of our notable peanut brittle and replaced the peanuts with pumpkin seeds, added molasses, and pumpkin pie spice. It's a winner and so is Tristan. I'm so proud of him and his efforts. I can't wait until next quarter to see what other confectionery delight he creates.
