Well, here we go. Washington State has enacted the Candy Tax. Effective June 1st everything in the candy industry will be taxed. So what is candy really? I'd like to be able to tell you. However, Washington State won't be offering a listing of all the candies that are taxable until June 1st. What is wrong with this picture?
Anyway, the bottom line is you're going to be seeing your favorite candies rising in price. Don't be surprised. I'm warning you ahead of time. So if you want tax free candy, you better buy all that you can prior to June 1st.
